Osun NIESV Chairman Becomes Otun Tobalase Of Gbongan Town

The branch Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, ESV Adekunle Adedoye, Fnivs has been honoured with Chieftaincy title of Otun Tobalase of Gbongan land in Ayedaade local government area of Osun state.

 

This is as his wife, Mrs. Oluwabukola Adedoye was also honoured with the chieftaincy title of Yeye Tobalase, by the traditional King of the town, HRM, Oba Dr. Adetoyese Oyeniyi JP, Odugbemi I, the Olufi of Gbongan land.

 

At the chieftaincy installation which attracted dignitaries at the weekend, such as the National President of NIESV, ESV Victor Alonge, the national officers and professional colleagues of the institution, as well as the OSCOTECH Alumni association President Adewale Afolabi and chapter members, among others, the Olufi Gbongan, Oba Dr. Oyeniyi described the new Otun Tobalase as an illustrious son of Gbongan land.

 

He added that ESV Adekunle Adedoye deserved the honour bestowed on him for his significant contributions to the development of the town, and urged him and his wife to live up to the responsibilities of their offices.

 

The Oba who appreciated the good people of the town and the guests for honoring the installation with their presence, urged all to have reputable characters, which he said will always be part of their history and existence.

 

In his goodwill message, the National President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, and Chairman of Council, ESV Victor Alonge Pnivs, Frics, Fclod who led the Council and members of the Institution to the ceremony, lauded the outstanding qualities of the Osun NIESV Chairman.

 

He also commended the Gbongan traditional stool, and the Olufi in Council for choosing to uplift their illustrious son, Prince Adekunle Adedoye as Otun Tobalase of Gbongan land.

 

According to the NIESV President Alonge, “Adedoye is an upright man who is trustworthy, supportive and loyal, your seeing guests who came from walks of life, to his installation in an attestation that we support him, and we are happy and proud of him.”

 

Using him as example, it is good for Royal Fathers to ensure that any candidate chosen for traditional positions, must be someone who believes in the growth and development of their town, so that the essence of their impact can be felt.

 

“We have confidence that with our professional colleague, ESV Adekunle Adedoye becoming the Otun Tobalase of Gbongan, the town will witness and enjoy development and growth to the admiration of all,” NIESV President Alonge added.

 

Similarly, the national President of the Alumni association of Osun state college of Technology, OSCOTECH Alumni, Hon Adewale Afolabi eulogised the Otun Tobalase as a true definition of good man, who always appreciates developments.

 

Afolabi congratulated the Osun NIESV branch Chairman, ESV Adekunle Adedoye and his wife, as Otun Tobalase and Yeye Tobalase for the chieftaincy installation which he described as an added feather of honor, based on their selfless service to the community and humanity.

 

The OSCOTECH Alumni national President added that the body will always recognize the contribution of Adedoye Adekunle as a stakeholder bringing landmark achievement to the Alma Mata of the Alumni, as a product of the institution through his professional stand.

 

He prayed God’s wisdom, guidance and blessings on the new positions and on their endeavors and also thanked everyone for gracing the occasion.
