Adeleke Dismisses False Report, Retains Provost Raheem of Ilesa College of Health Technology
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has dismissed reports that the Provost of Ilesa College of Health Technology, Dr. Lateef Olanrewaju Raheem, has been sacked.
In a statement issued in Osogbo, the state government said Dr. Raheem remains the substantive Provost of the institution.
According to the government, the recent crisis within the college has been resolved, and issues raised about the management of the school have been duly reviewed by the state leadership.
It added that a review of the management structure of the institution confirms full representation of the host community, and that the Governor is satisfied with the progress of the college within available resources.
The government explained that the advertorial recently placed by the board of the institution is a routine administrative exercise, noting that the Governor remains the main appointing authority and will soon take a decision on the renewal of the appointment of the incumbent Provost.
Members of the public have been urged to disregard any rumour regarding the leadership of the college.
