OSUN NAWOJ INAUGURATES ELECTORAL COMMITTEE, SETS GUIDELINES


Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ Osun chapter has inaugurated a three man electoral committee to stir the association through election process as umpires in the forthcoming election.

The committee chaired by Olusola Egbedofo of Osun state Broadcasting Corporation chapel was inaugurated, as a result of end of tenure of Motunrayo Ayegbayo led executives, announced at the associations Congress, held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Secretariat in Osogbo.

Other members of the committee includes Martha Adebiyi of State Information Chapel and Aanuoluwapo Odedeji of Federal Information chapel.

The Osun NAWOJ electoral committee who resumed duty immediately informed the members of the association of the guidelines for the election, which is billed to hold on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

They also stated that sales of form into the elective positions of the female journalists association in the state commences immediately. The posts includes: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Auditor.
