OSUN NAWOJ CELEBRATES NATIONAL CHAIRPERSON, HAJIA AISHA IBRAHIM K.. BURA ON HER BIRTHDAY

The Osun State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has joined the rest of the country to celebrate the National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim K. Bura on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement signed by the Osun state chapter Chairperson, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi, the association described Hajia Bura as an amazing leader, trailblazer and mother to all women in journalism across Nigeria.
Osun NAWOJ noted that under Hajia Bura’s leadership, NAWOJ has witnessed unprecedented growth, visibility and advocacy for women in the media profession.
“Hajia Aisha Ibrahim K. Bura has redefined leadership with compassion, courage and commitment. She has consistently used her voice to champion the rights of women journalists, gender equality and professionalism in the media industry,” the statement read.
The chapter commended her for her mentorship, inclusiveness and dedication to building the capacity of women journalists at both national and state levels, and prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, wisdom and strength for the National Chairperson as she continues to lead the association to greater heights.
