Osun Government partners with OSUCCIMA, Mygbolat Enterprises for economic advancement

In its relentless efforts targeted at the State’s industrialisation, the administration of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has continued to partner with organisations, industrialists and investors to advance the economic growth in the nooks and crannies of Osun State.

 

The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo in his office on Friday, while signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Osun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA) and Mygbolat Enterprises stated that Governor Adeleke remains focused and determined to rip the State and its citizens off poverty line.

 

According to the Commissioner, the allocation of land to OSUCCIMA and Mygbolat Enterprises at the Living Spring Free Trade Zone, is a pointer to a promise-keeper Osun has in Governor Adeleke.

 

The allocation of the land and signing of the MoU is the landmark gesture and commitment of Governor Adeleke’s administration to promoting Commerce, Industry and Entrepreneurship in Osun State.

 

Mygbolat Enterprises, located beside the exit gate, Ayegbaju International Maket, Ogo-oluwa Osogbo, deals in recycling of waste items like Cartons, Plastic water bottles, Drink cans and Nylon.

 

The company’s partnership with Osun State government is in line with its vision of being an indigenous waste recycling company by setting up a recycling plant for production of plastics such as PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE and PVC and also helping in building a sustainable environment through cleaner environment and job creation.

 

Mygbolat Enterprises is into real environpreneurship, it reduces the impact of climate change on the environment and provides a means of livelihood and self-reliance through waste management.

 

It also Increases the socio-economic activities, generate employment opportunities, increase wealth creation and impact poverty reduction efforts across Nigeria. It is simply waste to wealth initiative.

 

Meanwhile, the Council, Executive Committee and entire membership of OSUCCIMA, led by its President, Dr. Gbolade Famoriyo have expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke for the allocation of land to the Chamber at the Free trade Zone.

 

According to him, “the new site will serve as a permanent home for OSUCCIMA and provide us with the infrastructure needed to expand our trade facilitation services, organize larger business fairs and exhibitions, and run training programmes that promote MSMEs growth”.

 

“We are confident that the facility, when developed, will become a hub for investors, a center for business advocacy, and a catalyst for job creation and economic development across the state. It directly supports your administration’s agenda of making Osun State investor-friendly and business-ready”.

 

“OSUCCIMA will put the land to judicious use and work closely with government to attract investments and drive sustainable prosperity for the people of Osun”, he said.

 

Present at the signing of the Mou event for both organisations include the Management Team of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, OSUCCIMA’s 1st Deputy President, Engr. Gbenga Olateru, Mr. Saheed Fakeye, and the acting Director General, Mr. ‘Tunji Ajayi.

 

Others are the two promoters of Mygbolat Enterprises, Mr. Olatunji Olaribigbe and Mr. Gbolahan Ajayi.
