OSUN NUJ CONGRATULATES NEW PRESIDENT, OTHER EXCO

The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Osun State Council, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu has felicitated with the immediate past NUJ Deputy President, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya on his resounding victory as the new President, Nigeria Union of Journalists in the just concluded Triennial Delegates Conference held in Owerri, Imo State.

 

Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu in a message to the new President of NUJ said the overwhelming victory of Comrade Yahaya demonstrated the confidence Journalists across the country have in him.

 

The Osun Council Chairman encouraged the number one journalist in the country to reciprocate the good gesture of Nigerian Journalists with excellent performance that will enhance the integrity of the union and promote welfare of members.

 

He implored Comrade Yahaya to be magnanimous in victory by carrying along his co-contestants in his administration and accepting constructive criticisms.

 

Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu admonished the co-contestants with the new president to support him with their lofty ideas for the benefit of all.

 

He appealed to the President of NUJ to include Osun State Council in the national scheme of things so that it will recover the lost grounds.

 

He also congratulated other national officers that emerged unopposed and prayed to God to guide them in the discharge of their duties, affirming that Osun State Council looks forward to a robust working relationship with the new National Working Committee.
