Funke Felix-Adejumo, Oby Ezekwesili, Others To Inspire Osun Women At Exceptional Ladies Conference

As the much awaited Osun Exceptional Ladies Conference is set to hold, the popular minister of God, Dr Mrs Funke Adejumo, former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili and others are expected at the maiden edition of the program, organized by a women promoting forum, Ladies’ Aspire.

 

According to the statement by the Convener of the program, Pst Segun Oduyebo, the conference is billed to hold on Saturday April 6, 2024, as part of the activities to mark the year 2024 Women’s day.

 

Oduyebo added that the conference, which has the Wife of Osun state Governor, Her Excellency Erelu Ngozi Adeleke as the Chief Host, is aimed to establish mentorship that will enable young women to interact with women of substances on issues that changes lives.

 

Also speaking at the mini press  conference held to reveal the highlights of the program, the Chairman of Ladies Aspire forum, Mrs Folasade Oluyemisi Omole hinted that, Oby Ezekwesili, Mrs Funke Felix-Adejumo, Executive Director of FFA Group, Barrister Mrs Bolarinwa, and Mrs Yemisi Iranloye would be speaking on “Fostering Female Leadership in Personal Development and Nation Building”.

 

Omole who spoke extensively on the outline of the conference at the press conference, which held at the Osun NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo, on Wednesday, called on women from all walks of life in the state to attend the program.

 

She added that the upcoming conference will bring women of like minds together, and that Osun women who participated would be trained on how to be enterprising, and participants will get opportunity to discuss careers, networking, other advantages among others.

 

Speaking further, Omole, asserted that the Ladies Aspire forum will not in the future become a political group, adding that “The ultimate thing is to help every woman to be exceptional in whatever field they found themselves.”

 

She listed medical outreach as part of other lined up programs for the conference which according to her will start by 10:00am at WOCDIF Event Centre, Ringroad, Osogbo, and appealed to women in the state to ensure they attend the conference.
