2024 International Youth Day: CoPEi Collaborates Oba Akinyoye On Hosting In Osun

Towards the celebration of year 2024 International Youth Day:, Community Drive For Positive Engagement Initiative CoPEi has collaborates with the Olufon of Ifon, Oba Peter Akinyoye on the hosting of the program in Ifon, Osun state.

 

The synergy was made at the courtesy visit paid by CoPEi Chairman Board of Trustee, Ambassador Dr Aremu Stephen Akinyele and his team to the royal father in his palace.

 

In his remarks, Dr Aremu Stephen outlined the objectives and planned activities for the International Youth Day program, scheduled to take place on August 12, 2024, and he emphasized the importance to promoting youth engagement, empowerment, and development.

 

Highlighting the significance of the program, he also said the choice of the community is for enhancement of the cultural and traditional aspects of the event, requested the approval of the king, and gave insight into the details of the forthcoming event.

 

In response, the Olufon of Ifon, Oba Peter Akinyoye appreciated the CoPEi Chairman and his team for the initiative, added that the potential impact of the program on the local youth and community will aid development

 

The king asked pertinent questions regarding the logistics, security, and overall execution of the event, and then granted his approval for the use of the palace as the venue for the International Youth Day program.

 

Oba Akinyoye also assured Dr. Aremu Stephen and his team of the palace’s support in ensuring the success of the event.

 

Dr. Aremu Stephen thanked the Olufon for the approval and support, added that Hope for Family Development Initiatives HFDI is a partner on the program, and assured that the program would be a significant milestone in youth development and cultural enrichment.

 

At the courtesy visit to the Olufon of Ifon, were Hope For Family Development Initiatives HFDI team, Traditional Chiefs, Palace officials and dignitaries.
