On provision of system strengthening and orientation of project staff and case managers, Premium Care Initiative PCI, one of the partners of the ECEWS SPEED Project, had his Program Manager, Mr Paul Nwanye paid a visit to Hope for Family Development Initiative (HFDI) in Osogbo, Osun state.

At the meeting, Mr. Paul appreciated the management, case managers and also all staff for their efforts, as he commended their coordination and roles in ensuring that households receive the right services as expected.

He particularly lauded HFDI for commitment and availability on the project, he encouraged the case managers to continue their good work, reminding them that working smart is better than simply working hard.

While he stressed that working smart produces outstanding results and helps them to be more effective and efficient in their duties, Mr. Paul also shared the idea of creating a system that will allow case managers to review their performance at the end of each month before the review meeting.

According to him, this will help to measure progress, improve work, and remain efficient, he acknowledged the challenges of balancing office responsibilities, such as updating client folders, with fieldwork that involves visiting households.

Speaking on the programme planning for the next financial year, he noted that a link will be created to track the work of case managers, thereby using the system to make it easy for monitoring of monthly performances

The visitation enhanced staff motivation and reinforced the importance of working smart and efficiently, as Case managers gained renewed confidence in balancing office and field responsibilities, and the orientation provided them with practical strategies for monitoring and improving their performance.

The HFDI staff also pledged their commitment to the ECEWS SPEED Project, with a clearer understanding of their impact on households and communities in Osun State.
