Osun CoS Birthday: Foundation Donates Cleaning Drums to Government, Grants to Women and Food to Vulnerable
The BOA Initiative Foundation, in celebration of the birthday of Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, the Osun state Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke, rolled out a support program for women in small business enterprise, and widows, aimed at cushioning economic challenges.
The outreach which held in Ede country home of the Chief of staff, alongside the distribution of financial grants to market women and widows, made food packages available to vulnerable, orphanage homes, and donated cleaning drums to Osun state ministry of Environment for placement in agencies to achieve clean environment.
Speaking during the event, the CEO BOA Foundation, Dr Mrs Baliqis Akinleye stated that the donation is in Glory to God for the life of the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye.
She said the donation was made possible with the support of stakeholders, that instead of dancing around, they should impact the environment.
The foundation said the initiative is designed to complement existing efforts and support citizens by alleviating financial burdens outside of direct government intervention.
The program drew attendance from community stakeholders, including representative of Honorable Mayowa Adejoorin, Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment.
Organisers reiterated their commitment to sustaining community-focused support programs aimed at empowering local traders and strengthening grassroots economic resilience across the state.
The intervention also included targeted financial assistance for market women and widows
30 drums was donated to the Ministry of Environment for distribution to parastatals for cleaning purposes.
Dr Baliqis Akinleye appreciated the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke and prayed peace over his tenure, state Osun people for supporting the government.
Aged people were also part of the beneficiaries of the food support.
At the outreach held as part of activities marking the birthday of the Chief of Staff to the Osun State Government, Fikayo Benson Foundation supported with medical checkup.
