OSSIEC Chairman Pledges To Serve With Fear Of God, Honesty

The Chairman, Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC, Barrister Hasim Abioye, has pledged his readiness to serve the state with utmost fear of God and Honesty, devoid of favouritism or nepotism.

Barrister Abioye made the pledge while paying host to some notable Ikirun youths in the service of the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC, who were on solidarity visit to the new OSSIEC chairman.

He reiterated his earlier position that he is no more a card carrying member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but a legal practitioner of over one-and-half decades experience, who is ready to bring his experience to bear in the new state assignment.

The chairman of NUJ, OSBC Chapel, Comrade Lateef Agboola, who spoke on behalf of other Ikirun indigenes on the visit, had earlier raised the issue of partisanship allegations, for which the OSSIEC chairman insisted he is now the head a neutral electoral umpire, who is more than ready to prove to the world that the youth have the capacity to rescue the country.

The delegation had earlier commended Governor Ademola Adeleke, for considering Ikirun for such an enviable position and expressed their readiness to give maximum support for the resounding success of Osun State Independent Electoral Commission chairman, Barrister Hasim Abioye.
