Governor Ademola Adeleke is Security conscious, Concerned about safety of residents – Osun Information Commissioner

The administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke has been described as very security conscious in the general interest of the people of Osun State.
Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, who also described Governor Adeleke as very passionate about the safety of the residents of the State, disclosed this during an interactive session with media men in his office.
Oluomo Alimi said the state Governor has directed the State Security Council to take measures against any threat to the safety of lives and property of the people of the state.
While noting that, protection of all and sundry is one of the major responsibilities of the State Government, he disclosed that the present administration is irrevocably committed to her security duties.
To achieve this and other security measures, Alimi explained that the Governor has ordered a rejig of Amotekun Corps in order to support the State security architecture.
He, however, called on the residents of the State to be security conscious, and support all security operatives in order to sustain the prevailing peace in the State.
