Governor Adeleke Felicitates Custom Boss, Bashir Adeniyi on his Birthday
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has felicitated with the Comptroller General of Customs, Mr Bashir Adeniyi on his 60th birthday anniversary, describing him as “a reform minded, innovative border management specialist”
The governor in a statement on Monday said Mr Adeniyi has transformed the custom service into a truly modern, digitised service in line with the president’s federal reform agenda, noting that his birthday is “an applause for integrity, transparency and passion for public service delivery.
“I associate with my brother, a man who has placed the Custom service on a sound footing through branch and root reform. Your birthday is an occasion to applaud your decades of contributions to national development through the Custom service.
“I am proud that an Osun indigene through dint of hardwork and professionalism emerged as a successful Custom chief but also as the head of World Custom body. Your accomplishment is a pride for residents and citizens of Osun state.
“As you mark your birthday today, we pray for your successful tenure and even more attainments in your public and private sector choices in the future”, the governor was quoted as saying.
