Governor Adeleke endorses IBK, Olaoluwa, others for Accord tickets
Governor Ademola Adeleke and the leadership of the Accord have ratified the endorsement of candidates for the National Assembly seats at a meeting held at the Government House in Osogbo on Monday.
Former Chairman of the Osun State Universal Basic Education, Ibukun Fadipe has been endorsed as the preferred candidate of the Accord for Osun East Senatorial District, while Former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party and Commissioner for Rural Affairs, Gani Olaoluwa was also preferred.
Also, Senator Lere Oyewumi, all six incumbent House of Representatives members and House of Assembly members have been given nod to fly the party flags in their respective constituencies, putting ends to speculations and internal politicking within the party.
For Ijesa North, Ijesa South and Ife Federal Constituencies, Pelumi Olajengbesi, Popoola Ibrahim Alaba and Tosin Eluwole.
The Reps members who got automatic tickets include Mudasiru Lukman (Iwo), Bamidele Salam (Ede), Clement Olohunwa (Ila), Lanre Oladebo (Irewole), Adebayo Monrufu (Osogbo) and Soji Adetunji (IBO).
It was gathered that the Osun Central nomination was done via a shadow elections by some leaders of the party present and Olaoluwa was got majority.
The preferred for the primaries which are expected to be consensus mode.aspirants, will proceed to obtain nomination forms from the party this week as primaries will hold next week.
