Healthcare: ACOMIN, CLM, CBOs Reiterates Service Delivery in Osun 

…..Cautions Against Syphoning of Commodities….

Association of Civil Society Organizations on Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition, ACOMIN/ Community Led Monitoring (CLM) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) has reiterated its health service delivery to the people of Osun state.

 

This is as the non governmental organisations cautions health workers in the various health facilities in Osun state against syphoning of commodities meant to treat patients in the Primary Healthcare Centres.

 

This was the summation of the ACOMIN monthly Coordination meeting, held at Omilas Continental Hotel, Osogbo.

 

Speaking at the meeting, the state ACOMIN Chairman, Ambassador Dr Aremu Stephen Akinyele called for more support from the community committee, to support the government in making commodities available for the peoples usage at the facilities.

 

He also commended the good works of the committees put in place in the community, to complement the services from the government, adding that with the communities monitoring the running of the facilities, the health services rendered will be prompt.

 

The representative of SFH and MSH, also added that through ACOMIN, they will ensure prompt health service delivery which is hitch free.

 

In addition, the State Programme Officer, SPO David Amoto emphasized that the Community Led Monitoring project is for the communities to take over running of the facilities, under the watch of the government, to provide sustainability and continuity, even after the close out of the project.
