OSCOTECH Alumni President Supports Women Participation In Politics

The President, Alumni Association of Osun state College of Technology OSCOTECH, Hon Adewale Afolabi has declared his support for Women participation and inclusion in politics in Ekiti state, South West Nigeria.
Hon Afolabi who stated that a political terrain is not complete without the inclusion of women, who are either elected or appointed by governments, made this known at the 2-day consultative stakeholders meeting, organized by Hope for Family Development Initiatives HFDI, held at All Saints Multipurpose Hall, Adehun, Ado-Ekiti.
The OSCOTECH Alumni President charged male politicians in the state to have a large heart, and include women in all political activities, as well as the benefits, adding that each person belongs to one association or the other, hence the Alumni body supporting political ambition of its members in their various fields.
Stating that the world as at today has created platforms for women to thrive, he urged women to always support each other, and to come out en-mass and vote for their female counterparts through their civic duty.
Declaring his support for inclusion and participation of women in politics at the HFDI done in collaboration with Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen ifa Germany Foreign Office, he also assured of using strategies to campaign for the project in Ekiti State.
