Rivers CP Says Police Officers Involved In The Viral Video Captioned “$3000 USDT Transferred To Police Officers Wallet Has Been Identified, Arrested

The Rivers State Police Command says it has identified and arrested Officers involved in a viral video captioned “$3000 USDT Transferred To Police Officers WALLET”.

 

The state Public relations Officer SP Grace Iringe -Koko in a statement said the Commissioner of Police, CP Tunji Disu has identified and arrested the suspects

 

The statements read:

Re: $3000 USDT Transferred To Police Officers WALLET

 

The police personnel have been identified and arrested while the investigation is in progress.

 

The outcome will be made public as soon as it is concluded.

Recall that One Harrison Gwamnishu, in his X handle @HarrisonBbi18 has twitted “police officers attached to Rivers State Police Command left Portharcourt to ABA, ABIA State, arrested a man, took him to Rivers State, Bayelsa State and entered Ughelli, Delta State. After paying 3000USDT, they moved him back to Portharcourt and dumped him”.

 

He also posted statement on same on X handle.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Tunji Disu, on hearing about the unfortunate incident ordered for immediate investigation, which led to identification and arrest of the officers.
