GOV ADELEKE PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO OBA ADEDEJI KAYODE ADEDAPO

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Oba Adedeji Kayode Adedapo, the Wasare of Ijana-Wasare in Atakumosa West Local Government Area of Osun State.
Speaking during the presentation, Senator Ademola Adeleke affirmed that the monarch’s appointment went through due process which made all stakeholders happy.
He appealed to residents of the Local Government to shun acts of violence and continue to sustain the existing peace they are known for.
Governor Adeleke, who was represented at the occasion by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Dosu Babatunde, enjoined the people of the Local Government to cooperate with their new monarch for the progress, unity and peace of the land.
The Governor reiterated his commitment to ensuring peaceful co-existence among Osun people, which he said brings unity, growth, peace and development to any given society.
In his remarks, Oba Adedeji Kayode Adedapo appreciated the Governor and the State Executive Council for the approval.
Kabiyesi also commended the Governor for the unprecedented achievements recorded and thanked him for the opportunity given to him to serve the people of his community.
Dignitaries at the occasion included Chief (Mrs) Dame Toyin Asaolu, Princess Alakola of Akola-Ijesa, Chief (Mrs) Ojo Bolanle, the Yeyerise of Ilesa land, Chief (Mrs) Olaiya Adebimpe, the Yeye Baado of Ilesa, and Olori Adedapo Moriyike.
