Women’s Success in Politics Group Holds Prayer for Gov Adeleke, Accord Party, Others 

A group known as Women’s Success in Politics and supporters of the Accord Party organised a special prayer session at the Muslim Imman Afonta Mosque, Alekuwodo, Osogbo.

 

During the prayer gathering, prayers were offered for the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Hon. Igbalaye Bibire, the Secretary to the Osun State Government, and the Chairman of the Accord Party in Osogbo, Hon. Ajibola Asimiyu, popularly known as Baba Isila.

 

The participants prayed that God would grant the leaders peace, strength, wisdom, and good health to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

 

They also prayed for the forthcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026, seeking divine guidance and victory for the Accord Party.

 

Speaking at the programme, the leader of the Women’s Success in Politics group, Mrs. Serigold, stated that the purpose of organizing the prayer session was to support their leaders through prayers and to seek God’s favour and success for them in all their endeavours, particularly in the upcoming governorship election.

 

She expressed confidence that, with God’s help and protection, the Accord Party would perform well and that its candidates would emerge victorious in the election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

 

The event also featured Christian prayers led by Pastor Joseph Omokiye of Covenant and Light Chapel, located on Peter Ajibola Street, Osogbo.
