Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, Osun HOS, Olorowuwo / Ogundun, Abokede to be inducted into Osun NUJ Hall of Fame

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council will tomorrow induct some prominent Nigerians into its Hall of Fame.

 

A statement by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin indicates that the event will hold at the NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo by Eleven o’clock in the morning.

 

It noted that Professor Wasiu Oyedokun of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti will be speaking on the theme ” Nigeria Economy, insecurity, Democracy and The Way Out” at the occasion.

The statement hinted that Osun State Commissioner of Information and Public Enlightenment,Oluomo Kolapo Alimi ,Osun State Head of Service ,Mr Ayanleye Aina as well as the Olorowuwo of Ororuwo, Oba Qamarudeen Adeyemi Alawode will be inducted into the union’s Hall of Fame.

 

Others include the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Olufemi Ogundun and the General Manager ,Osun State Community and Social Development agency, Mrs Funmi Abokede while a renowned Media Consultant,Chief Oluremi Oyeyemi will receive award of Excellence at the Occasion.

The statement added that the Chief Executive Officer of Rave FM/ WSTV, Dr Femi Adefila is the Chairman of the occasion while Alagbeda of Agbeda-Ijesa,Oba Adesoji Adeniyi is the Royal Father of the Day..
