Niyi Adeosun and Siblings Celebrate Late Parents with Funfair in Osogbo

…Family Holds Final Burial for Mama Wa and 10th Year Remembrance for Pa S.O Adeosun

It was a celebration of life, love and legacy as Niyi Adeosun and his siblings hosted family, friends and well-wishers to a grand funfair in honour of their late parents in  Osogbo on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

The event, organized by “The Adeosun Family of Iresi, Osun State”, took place at the WOCDIF Event Center, Ring road, Lameco Area, Osogbo.

The gathering of dignitaries from all works of lives, was a combination of two significant events: the Final Burial Ceremony of their beloved mother, Mama Moradehun Fibiani Adeosun a.k.a Mama Wa, and the 10 Years Remembrance of their father, Pa Sunday Olayinka Adeosun a.k.a S.O.

On the band entertaining the dignitaries, community leaders, and associates from Iresi, Osun state and across Nigeria, as well as the Diaspora community was Gbenga Falope Junior, who captured the hearts of the guests dressed in the event’s official colours of Fuschia Pink and Powder Blue to celebrate the lives and legacies of the late couple.

Speaking on behalf of the family, and the children, Niyi described their parents as pillars of love, discipline, and community service who raised them with strong Yoruba values.

The funfair featured music, prayers, tributes, and entertainment as guests remembered the virtues of Mama Wa and Pa S.O and prayed for the continued unity of the Adeosun family.

Fund raising was also made for the Baptist church project the late Mama Wa embarked on, before she answered the call of God at death.

The Adeosun family of Iresi appreciated all who came to celebrate, support, and honour the memory of their parents.
