LG Election: Felicia Adeniran Flags off Campaign in Ayedaade, says PDP will win again

The election campaign of the People’s Democratic Party, Chairmanship candidate of Ayedaade local government, Gbongan, Hon Mrs Felicia Adenike Adeniran has been flagged off.

 

The flag off which held at Oke Church, round about area of Gbongan town in Ayedaade local government held on Friday.

 

In her speech, Hon Felicia Adeniran stated that as a woman, a PDP Chairman aspirant, “I believe it is time for women to take up the position, because we are capable, and I am assuring all that succour has come for women artisans, entrepreneurs, farmers and others in this local government.”

 

According to her, “I was once a caretaker chairman and I refurbished schools, made borehole and other infrastructure to give enabling environment to the people, and I will also do many life improving work for the people, in short everyone will enjoy the dividends of democracy in my tenure through the PDP party.”

 

“I call to everyone to support me by voting for me, in the forthcoming local government election, my program is all inclusive irrespective of party affiliates, and I urge them to support me to serve them as the local government party Chairman.”

 

In his goodwill message, Hon Ogundare Folorunso, representing Ayedaade State constituency at the Osun state House of Assembly, says the flag off election campaign, of Felicia Adeniran which attracted lots of people shows that she is widely accepted, and that she will win the election by Gods Grace.

 

As a lawmaker, I have activities to support the incoming local government Chairman and other projects that will enhance my constituency.

Also speaking, Hon Sanmi Adeyeba, Ayedaade PDP Chairman, maintained that through the local government elections, the council will have representative in all the necessary quota.

 

“Our motto is seeing is believing, and we have done lots of projects with the approval of the state government in two years, this is visible for all to see, and PDP party will continue to do good for the people of Osun state.”

 

“We expect the candidates to perform exceptionally, and we have hope in them, than they will do better than previous political office holders of the local government.”

 

“For the future of Peoples Democratic Party, I don’t see PDP losing any election, we have won before and we will win again” – Adeyeba stated.

 

In his remarks, Hon Adekunle Adedoye SA to the Governor said the electorates will vote People Democratic Party, PDP all the time, because the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke has done excellently well most especially for the people of Gbongan in the areas of roads, bridges have been constructed, people has been empowered, and everyone believes that the political party will to continue to deliver good governance, and as such, the PDP candidates will enjoy the good works of the government to get to their elective post. Let it be known that Gbongan Traditional leader and Chiefs are solidly behind this current administration without any iotas of doubt.

 

He added that Hon Felicia is a virtuous and reputable woman loved by all and sundry, and I urge her to support women and others in the local government with her office, when she ascent the position of Chairman.

 

“Ayedaade local government people is proud to support her, and being a good woman under PDP government, the acceptance and support is sustainable” – Adedoye affirmed.
