Osun NAWOJ Lauds Gov Adeleke On Two years of Impactful Women Development Programmes

Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State Chapter, has lauded His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke, on Two Transformative Years in Office as Osun Governor.

This was made known in a release by the Chairperson Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi who in the spirit of celebrating Governor Adeleke’s two years in office, stated that his government Women development programs are laudable.

This is as the association congratulated the Governor and also advocated for more women involvement, inclusive, empowerment programmes for female youths, artisans, entrepreneurs, and professionals across board in Osun state.

“On behalf of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State Chapter, we extend heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke, as you celebrate two remarkable years of purposeful leadership and groundbreaking achievements in office.”

“As advocates for the empowerment of women and the promotion of gender equity, Osun NAWOJ is particularly thrilled by the strides, which your administration has made in advancing women’s development programs across Osun State.”

“Under your visionary leadership, countless women have been empowered to break barriers, improve their economic prospects, and make invaluable contributions to the growth and progress of our beloved state.”

“As a female focused association, we appreciate Governor Ademola Adeleke’s unwavering commitment to promoting women’s development, which is evident in numerous initiatives that have uplifted women in rural and urban communities alike.”

“The provision of grants, soft loans, and vocational training programs has transformed the lives of many women, enabling them to start businesses, become self-reliant, and support their families, and by championing financial inclusion for women, your policies have ensured that women are no longer left behind in the state’s economic development agenda.”

“Furthermore, your efforts to improve maternal and child healthcare have been a lifeline for many families in Osun State. The establishment of accessible healthcare centers, coupled with programs aimed at reducing maternal mortality, reflects your administration’s genuine concern for the well-being of women and children.”

“Similarly, your commitment to education through the promotion of the girl-child’s rights and the reduction of out-of-school girls has also set a solid foundation for future generations.”

Your Excellency Sir, we commend your administration for its “proactive stance against Gender-Based Violence, by implementing policies and partnering with organisations to combat domestic abuse and violence, you have created a safer environment for women and girls in Osun State. These efforts have not only given hope to victims but also underscored the importance of protecting women and female children’s rights.”

“From the governments cooperative loan empowerment to small scale businesses, to healthcare delivery, economic empowerment support, access to education, and free health insurance benefits to female persons with disability, given to female beneficiaries among others, it said that the association is expectant of more women friendly programs for the good people of Osun state.”
