Children’s Day 2025: Hon. Eniola Odeniyi Extends Warm Wishes to Children Across Osun State and Nigeria
As the children of Nigeria marks Children’s Day 2025, the Honourable Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Osun State on Public Enlightenment, Hon. Eniola Odeniyi, join millions in celebrating the vibrancy, potential, and future of children both in Osun State and Nigeria as whole. He acknowledges the importance of this special day in highlighting the rights, protection, and development of every child.
Hon. Eniola Odeniyi extends heartfelt felicitations to children everywhere, with a particular emphasis on the children of Osun State. He emphasized that the well-being and empowerment of children remain a critical component of societal growth and sustainable development. According to him, every investment in the life of a child is an investment in the future of the society at large.
In his message, Hon. Odeniyi specially applauded the Executive Governor of Osun State, *His Excellency Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke (Imole)*, for his tireless commitment to the welfare of children in the state. He noted that Governor Adeleke has continually demonstrated leadership and compassion through policies and programmes that promote child health, education, and overall development.
He specifically highlighted the recent statewide initiative in which thousands of school children across Osun were given free eye examinations. The eye screening exercise, backed by the Adeleke-led administration, identified visual impairments among students, and subsequently provided necessary medical treatments and corrective eyeglasses to those in need—at no cost to their families.
Hon. Odeniyi concluded by calling on parents, teachers, leaders, and stakeholders to continue working hand-in-hand to ensure that children are given the love, education, care, and protection they deserve. He reaffirmed his dedication, alongside that of the Adeleke administration, to keep advocating for a brighter and healthier future for every child in Osun State and beyond.
