Ogungbangbe Breaks Record, Emerges For Second Term As NULGE President

Dr Nathaniel Kehinde Ogungbangbe has broken the record in the history of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE), Osun State Chapter, by emerging as President, for second term, through election with large number of votes to defeat other presidential contestants.
Ogungbangbe who is hardworking and had served the union well, made his ambition known to the union members, with his laudable scorecard calling for one good turn to deserves another.
At the election which took place at Western Sun Hotel in Ede on Tuesday, 4th of March 2025, Comrade Dr Ogungbangbe Nathaniel Kehinde won, and was declared the winner, and President of Osun State NULGE.
In his address, the NULGE President Comrade Dr. Kehinde Ogungbangbe appreciated God, and commended the LG staff for voting for him. He assured the NULGE members that his administration will promote their welfare.
He also thanked the NULGE members in all local government in the state for their prayers, while he promised that he would not disappoint them.

The newly elected NULGE President Dr. Ogungbangbe urged all the executives to cooperate with the local government staff, and with the government in the discharge of their duty.
He assured all that the association will continue to protect the interest of the union, and also support the good governance strategy of the government.
In his remarks, the Osun state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Dr Christopher Arapasopo, commended the NULGE union for the peaceful conduct of the election.
He thanked all the contestants and urged them to support each other by working to move the association forward after the election.
It can be recalled that in the history of Osun state, any candidate who win the election, occupies the position for a single term, but the record has been broken by Dr Nathaniel Kehinde Ogungbangbe who has emerged for President in his second term in office.
