AGRICULTURE REVOLUTION: GOV ADEMOLA ADELEKE DESERVES A SPECIAL APPLAUSE – AJALA ADETUNJI, NYCN CHAIRMAN

The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria Osun state has appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for keeping to his promise made during the last Ipade imole forum, by making it to come to fruition.

 

Ajala Adetunji reacting with a congratulatory message to Gov Adeleke’s launch of 31 tractors, said, that the last time the state experienced massive tractorization for food security was during the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, adding that since then, the state have suffered set back in mechanized food production.

 

“May I congratulate the citizens of osun state on this drive towards ensuring food security in order to end hunger and poverty. It is crystal clear that the government is ready for massive food production through the distribution of farm input and tractor flagged off today.

 

Equally, It is imperative to recognize the input of the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon Tola Faseru and Special Adviser on Agriculture Hon Adeniran Atidade, for their doggedness in ensuring that this lofty proposition comes to reality. It is simply the right direction, most especially at this time when there is hike in food.

 

The NYCN Osun Chairman stated that the people’s Governor has demonstrated impeccable commitment to food security by setting up committee that will set up a framework for the implementation which showed a step to food production.

 

Adetunji while congratulating the farmers and intending farmers in the state, urged them to make good use of this equipment for liberation of people, by ensuring the tractor equipment are used in accordance with the directives given by the ministry of Agriculture and food security.
