OSUN NAWOJ ADMONISHES MUSLIM SISTERS TO EMULATE GOOD VIRTUES OF EID’L ADHA
Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State Chapter, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Muslim brethren on the joyous occasion of the Eid Hulda Ilesa Festival 2024.
This is as it admonished Muslim Sisters to emulate good virtues of Eid’l Ahda.
In a release jointly signed by the Chairperson Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi, the association noted that the festive is a very vibrant celebration which holds immense religious significance in symbolizing unity, gratitude, and spiritual fulfillment.
The association noted, Eid Hulda which is also observed with great enthusiasm and devotion, marks the culmination of a period dedicated to faith, reflection, and community bonding, and time for Muslims to come together in celebration, offering prayers, sharing festive meals, and engaging in acts of charity.
Osun NAWOJ commends the steadfast faith, dedication, and discipline demonstrated by our Muslim sisters during this period, with attributes such as compassion, generosity, and solidarity, which resonates deeply with the principles of unity and mutual respect that it uphold as an association.
The female journalists association in Osun state joins “Muslim sisters in celebrating this year Eid Hulda and encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of the occasion by fostering an atmosphere of peace and harmony within our diverse communities.”
The association also urged citizens in this festive period to extend their hands of generosity to the less privileged.
Furthermore, Osun NAWOJ reiterates its commitment to promoting values of tolerance, respect, and unity through responsible journalism and community engagement.
