NASU Tag Unity And Cooperation As Key To Success At lts End-of-Year Celebration 

 

The Osun State Chairman of the Non Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Comrade Samuel Olukayoke Ibitoye has emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation as a key to the year success, during the 2025 End-of-Year Get-Together Programme held at the NUJ Olu-Osungbohun Hall in Osogbo, Osun State.

 

The event brought together distinguished elders, esteemed guests, loyal branch leaders, and dedicated comrades to celebrate the year’s achievements and reflect on the union’s progress.

 

In his welcome address, Chairman Comrade Samuel Olukayode Ibitoye who commended the members, cited harmony as the key to overcoming challenges facing the union and the nation at large. He expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness, mercy, and preserving grace over the lives of members, their families, and the union.

 

The Chairman highlighted the union’s strengths and areas requiring improvement, urging members to set priorities for the future and renew their commitment to progressive unionism.

 

He also commended members who have served the union meritoriously, citing their dedication, integrity, loyalty, and service to humanity as values that NASU stands for.

 

The event provided a platform for members to reflect on the year, identify areas for growth, and strengthen relationships between branches, as members shared stories of God’s goodness and faithfulness throughout the year, filling the event with laughter, joy, and a sense of camaraderie.

 

Special prayers were held to appreciate God Almighty for sparing lives through the year, with both Christians and Muslims praying for the nation, the state, and the NASU at large.

 

The event was attended by former Deputy president of University Teaching Hospital Trade Group Council, Comrade Owoeye Sanya Olu and Former Deputy President of Schools and Colleges Trade Group Council, Comrade Esho Sunday Ajetumobi Branch Chairmen, and other dignitaries, who commended the union for its efforts in promoting the welfare of social workers in the state.

 

The NASU, Osun state wing expressed its gratitude to all members who participated in the event and looks forward to continued growth and success in the coming year.

 

The union plans to continue promoting the welfare of social workers in the state, focusing on unity, cooperation, and progressive unionism.

 

The 2025 End-of-Year Get-Together Programme was a memorable and fruitful event, a fitting conclusion to a successful year for NASU Osun State.
