HIV Prevention: HFDI Creates Awareness For Adolescent and Young Girls At Presbyterian Church of Nigeria


Hope for Family Development Initiative HFDI conducted an awareness program to sensitise adolescent on HIV prevention measures, encouraging testing and counseling services at Presbyterian Church of Nigeria.

 

The session which provided adolescent with improved knowledge of HIV awareness, prevention and transmission, Improved access to testing and counseling services and Reduce risky behaviors and promote safe practices, held at Etinan, Akwa Ibom state.

 

Based on the HFDI objective, sensitising the adolescent and young girls on prevention and transmission of HIV enhanced quality of life, is to achieve safe practices and Ensuring regular testing and counseling to aid adolescent and young girls in making informed decisions.

 

The session was impactful as the participants had Increased knowledge on HIV awareness, prevention and transmission. Improved access to testing and counseling service.
