Hajj 2025: Pray for Osun State -Governor Adeleke Tells Pilgrims

Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged Muslim Pilgrims who are set to travel for year 2025 Hajj to make Osun state a prayer point of their dua during their sojourn at the Hajj.

 

The Governor made the disclosure at the farewell ceremony of almost 1,500 intending pilgrims from Osun State, held at the Public Service Central Mosque in Abere.

 

According to Governor Ademola Adeleke, offering prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Osun State and the success of his administration while in the holy land, is fulfilling one of the five pillars of Islam.

 

The governor who urged the pilgrims to stay safe, wished them a safe journey, good health, and pray God to accept their spiritual obligations at the Holy land.

The Governor used the medium to give thanks to Allah for continued blessings on the people of Osun, while he also commended Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for its effective planning and coordination of this year’s pilgrimage.

 

He went further to commend Osun Muslim community for their spiritual support, and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to their welfare.

Earlier in his opening address, the Commissioner for  Home Affairs, Hon Rasheed Aderibigbe appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for his unwavering support of the  Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board.

 

He noted that with the leading of the Chairman of Hajj Board, Shayhk Almoruf Olawale Isola PhD, the pilgrims have been sensitised on the guidelines and expectations in Mecca.

 

He urged the Pilgrims to imbibe and uphold the ethos of  Omoluabi by portraying the State in good light during the pilgrimage.
