The Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Nabahamid Connect Station, Hon. Salaam Hamid Adewale has congratulated Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun on his emergence as the Accord Party candidate to represent Ede North State Constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly.
This is also as he urged his supporters and followers to rally votes for the the victory of Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun as well as the return of Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term in office.
This is contained in a congratulatory message to Hon. Nurudeen Akogun which he personally signed made available to newsmen through his media aid in Owode-Ede on Thursday
He commended the Accord Party leadership led by the Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Yeye Modupe Adeleke Sanni and other party elders and leaders for a transparent process with which Hon. Nurudeen Akogun emerged.
Hon. Salaam Adewale who also contested for the ticket described Hon. Nurudeen Akogun’s emergence as the will of God, stressing that the most important thing is for the people of Ede North State Constituency to be adequately represented, something he believes the Majority Leader will do well.
He called on all his supporters and followers to collapse every existing structure for the support of the Accord Party candidate, Hon. Nurudeen Akogun and work assiduously to ensure that Governor Ademola Adeleke emerge for a second term in office.
The statement reads in part, “I want to warmly congratulate my brother, Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun on his emergence as the candidate to fly the flag of our great party in forthcoming elections into the Osun State House of Assembly.
“Let me quickly thank our party leaders, starting with the people’s loving Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, I thank my daddy, the Chief of Staff, I thank Yeye Modupe Adeleke Sanni and every other leaders for their support to me during the contest and for the transparent manner Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun has emerged. It shows that our party is indeed grounded in truth and transparency.
“Party primaries are over, our candidate has emerged, I urge all my followers and supporters to stand by him till victory at the polls. I believe in the capabilities of Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun, he has been the Majority Leader and I believe he will continue to give our people quality representation.
“I hereby appeal to all my supporters and followers to collapse every structure and begin to work for the victory of our darling Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Hon. Nurudeen Babajide Kofoworola Akogun and every other Accord Party candidate across the State.
“The good governance we are currently enjoying in Osun State under Senator Ademola Adeleke must not stop, it is our duty to protect it with with our votes, and i urge us to rally and canvas for votes for our candidate”. He stated.
