Governor Adeleke is consumed with passion to meet citizens’ needs – SA Public Enlightenment

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has been described as a leader who is very passionate about meeting the citizens’ needs.
This impression was given by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Enlightenment, Hon Eniola Odeniyi while addressing a market rally, organized by the State Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment at Total- Ede Market.
While acknowledging the State helmsman as ‘a talk and do Governor’, who is poised on fulfilling his electoral promises, Hon Odeniyi added that the love and compassion of Governor Adeleke for his people is second to none.
He then admonished the market men and women to collaborate with government in moving the State forward, assuring them of adequate provision of needed infrastructure to boost their trade.
Also speaking, the Chairman Ede North Local Government, Hon Taiwo Amodu, represented by Hon.Mutiu Siyanbola, promised that all local governments in the zone will support government activities in order to elongate the prevailing good leadership in the State.
The Council Chairman emphasized that payment of taxes and levies is important for development and urged the market women to comply with government rules and regulations, adding that the Local Government will also provide some of their requests such as public toilets, among others.
The Iyaloja-General of Osun State, Chief (Mrs) Mary Oyebode also commended Governor Adeleke for regular payment of salaries and pensions in addition to systematic offsetting of 30 months arrears of half salary incurred by the previous administration, admitting that it has gone a long way in enhancing market patronage.
She then appreciated the people for supporting the government and urged them not to relent in their support, assuring them that Governor Adeleke will not disappoint them.
The market sensitization rally was attended by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Modupe Irelewuyi along with the entire management team of the Ministry, among others.
Among the market leaders that supported the State Iyaloja-General at the rally were: Alhaja Memunat Ajagbe, Iyaloja Ede North Local Government; Iyaloja Sakiratu, Oja Baba-sanya, and Adesina Adijat, Iyaloja Total-Ede market, to mention a few.
