FAIRNESS IN APC: IT IS TURN OF IFELODUN, BORIPE, ODO OTIN TO PRODUCE SENATOR

The progressives right from the time of the late sage Obafemi Awolowo had been known for equity and fairness most especially in the choice of candidates.
Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and his contemporaries, some of whom are now in the All Progressives Congress APC can testify to this principle of live and let others live (Je ki n je ni mayo dun).
It is now time to pick a candidate that will contest the position of Senator in Osun Central District under the All Progressives Party, APC Our party! My party! Your party!,.
It is however important and sacrosanct to remind our great leaders of what has happened in the past and the need to toe the line of fairness and equity as always demonstrated by late Obafemi Awolowo, late Chief Bola Ige, Late Chief Bidi Onabanjo and the likes, while choosing a candidate for Osun Central.
It is on record that Late Senator Hazmat Bayo Salami and Dr. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru (SRJ) of Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun and Orolu constituency have served as senator under the ticket of the progressives, just as professor Olusola Adeyeye of Ila, Ifedayo served as Senators with the ticket of the progressives.
Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunnla of ila federal constituency is currently serving.
The only constituency that has not obtained the progressives Osun Senatorial ticket is Ifelodun, Boripe, Odo-Otin (IBO).
It is on record that right from ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY(AD) to ACTION CONGRESS(AC), ACTION CONGRESS OF NIGERIA (ACN) and now to ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC), the people of ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin have stood firm, winning elections for the progressives.
Therefore ceding the 2027 Osun Central Senatorial ticket to IBO will further portray the progressives as a political party that is fair and just.
This will not only give the people of IBO a sense of belonging in the progressives where their trust lays, but also serve as catalyst for them to further work for the success of the party in all elections .
It is on note that IBO constituency has highly qualified candidates who can fly the flag of APC to success.
It is therefore incumbent on the leadership of APC to consider IBO zone for the Osun Central Senatorial ticket, to balance the long time neglect of the district.
