ELONGATION OF SERVICE: OSUN TEACHERS APPRECIATES GOV ADELEKE, LAUDS GOVTS PASSION ON EDUCATION, WELL-BEING

Members of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Osun State Chapter, have expressed sincere gratitude to an astute and passionate leader that loves to put smiles into the faces of young and old, the man of the masses, and the talk and do governor, H.E Asiwaju Sen. Dr. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State for approving the elongation of their service and backing it up with an official letter.

Speaking on behalf of the affected teachers, Comrade Adeleye stated that the gesture is a testament that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke values education and the well-being of osun workers, and the citizens at large.

Comrade Adeleye who made this known during the teachers gathering at SUBEB office in the state capital, affirmed that in the history of Osun state government, they have not for once enjoyed or benefitted what they are now getting in the administration of Governor Adeleke.

According to him “at this point when the country is going through tedious time and experiencing economic hardship coupled with the limited IGR being generated in the state, yet the governor can still think of lengthening our time of services and makes us relevant in the family and society.”

” We so much appreciate him for this kind hearted attitude and we pray the Lord be with him and guide him throughout his lifetime. As a teacher and government workers we solicit and pledge our support for his re-election in the next gubernatorial election,” says comrade Adeleye.

While addressing the teachers, the Executive Secretary, Osun SUBEB, Mr. Yahaya Bakare asserted that the extension of their services is born out of the love and passion that Governor Ademola Adeleke has for teachers well-being and that of their family.

The Osun SUBEB Scribe, then enjoined the teachers to reciprocate the good gesture extended to them by Governor Adeleke, by performing their work diligently, adequately and support the present administration to deliver more of the dividend of democracy to the doorstep of every citizen of the state.

He also appealed to them to propagate the good work of the first citizen of Osun State, Asiwaju Sen. Dr. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State to nooks and crannies of the state and continue to support the governor with their prayers in order to do more.

Mr. Yahaya added that the civil servants in the state owes respects and gives accolades to the Governor, even now that he accepted to join the few states in the country, by agreeing to pay the N70,000 minimum wage which other producing and infrastructural states in the country claim they could not afford due to the survival and sustainability of their state after paying such humongous amount of money.

Finally, he confessed to the teachers that they cannot ask for anything else than this listening governor who values his people and is ever ready to go extra miles to please them.
