Adewimbi is a good choice as Senator for Osun West , declares intention to run

Gen. Bashir Adewimbi rtd has declared his intention to run as the Senator for Osun West Senatorial district of the state.
This is as he has been described as a good choice by the party leaders and members of the zone.
The disclosure was revealed at the declaration made at Ede federal constituency, held at Ido Osun.
Speaking at the declaration, Alhaji Gbadebo Ajao, Chairman, All Progressive Congress, APC Ede federal constituency, said everyone is free to show interest, while they are guided by the rules of the party, and whosoever is picked will be supported.
He reiterated the commitment of the leaders of the APC party to deliver good candidates and also mobilise more new age voters into the party as the state governorship and federal election approaches.
In his remarks, the Osun West Senatorial Aspirant, Gen Bashir Adewimbi rtd, declared his readiness to represent the people of his constituency at the Red chamber, adding that his contribution into the growth of the party in the zone can not be over emphasised.
The retired general who was the former Osun Amotekun Corps Commander said he has the support of the leaders and members of the APC party, as he has consistently held the party together by contributing to the development of the party and the people.
According to the Ede born Senatorial Aspirant, “As a dedicated member, I supported the leaders, funding the continuation of the good work of the party, despite that this is the constituency of the sitting Governor.”
“I am fully prepared as an APC member, have been campaigning to electorates to get their INEC Continuous Voters Registration done, and when you check the data, Ede North is one of the areas with large numbers of registration.”
“As a Senator for the senatorial ticket, I have the support of the constituency: the coordinators, the people and everyone, the Adewimbi Progressive Movement is working so that people must vote for the party candidates: the Osun state gubernatorial candidate Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR at the federal election, come year 2027.”
“I assure you that myself and the other APC candidates will represent well and provide good governance to the people of Osun state,” – Adewimbi stated.
