2025 Christmas: Osun Amotekun Corps Commander Omoyele, Congratulates Christians

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, High Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended warm congratulations to Christians across Osun State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the 2025 Christmas celebration.

 

In his goodwill message, the Corps Commander described Christmas as a season that reflects the core values of love, peace, sacrifice, and unity as exemplified by the birth and teachings of Jesus Christ. He urged Christians to embrace these virtues in their daily lives and to allow the spirit of the season to foster harmony within families, communities, and the wider society.

 

High Chief Omoyele called on Christians to celebrate the season with moderation, emphasizing the need for peaceful conduct, mutual respect, and consideration for one another. According to him, the true essence of Christmas goes beyond festivity, reminding everyone of the importance of compassion, tolerance, and selfless service to humanity.

 

He further encouraged Christians to use the period of celebration to pray for lasting peace, unity, and progress in Osun State and the nation as a whole. The Corps Commander also appealed for prayers and support for security personnel who continue to make sacrifices to safeguard lives and property, especially during the festive period.

 

Reaffirming the commitment of the Osun Amotekun Corps to the protection of citizens, High Chief Omoyele assured residents that the Corps remains vigilant and dedicated to maintaining peace and security throughout the Christmas season and beyond.

 

He concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful and peaceful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year filled with hope, good health, and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence.
