The Osun State Primary Health Care Development Board (OSPHCDB) has received a donation of essential drugs from New Height Pharmaceutical to support the delivery of quality healthcare services across primary healthcare centres in the state.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Shina Igbalaye, received the drugs on behalf of the Osun State Government during a colourful ceremony that coincided with a fun fair organised by the management and staff of the Board to celebrate the re-election victory of Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The donation was formally presented by Business Executive Opeyemi Adeyemi, who represented New Height Pharmaceutical in delivering the drugs to the Board on behalf of the company.

Receiving the donation, Dr. Igbalaye expressed profound appreciation to New Height Pharmaceutical for the generous gesture, describing it as a valuable contribution to the Adeleke administration’s efforts to strengthen primary healthcare services and ensure the availability of essential medicines in health facilities across Osun State.

He noted that the donation would complement the state government’s ongoing investments in the health sector, particularly in improving access to quality and affordable healthcare for residents at the grassroots.

Dr. Igbalaye also commended the management and staff of the Board for their dedication and commitment, saying the celebration of Governor Adeleke’s re-election reflected their appreciation for the administration’s remarkable support for the primary healthcare sector.

Speaking during the presentation, Business Executive Opeyemi Adeyemi reaffirmed New Height Pharmaceutical’s commitment to supporting initiatives that improve public health and strengthen healthcare delivery, adding that the company would continue to partner with stakeholders in promoting healthier communities.
