UNIMED Announces Promotion of 3 new Professors and 2 Readers
The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo has announced the promotion of three new Professors and two Readers.
The professors are: Professor Patrick Olanrewaju Osho, Department of Haematology and Acting Dean, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences; Professor Joseph Irewole Fatukasi, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences; and Professor Akinwunmi Ayodeji Akinbodewa, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
The Readers are: Dr Lasun Tunde Ogundele , Department of Physics, Faculty of Science; and Dr Babawale Peter Olatunji, Department of Biosciences and Biotechnology, Faculty of Science.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, while disclosing the promotion of the new Professors and Readers, congratulated and encouraged them to see their new ranks as a call to more service.
In his words, “I congratulate the newly promoted Professors and Readers. It is a testament to your dedication and diligence to research, teaching and community service in your respective fields. While I rejoice with you on these academic attainments, I want to encourage you to see your promotion as a call to more service to humanity!”
