HFDI PARTICIPATES IN DHIS DATA TRAINING FOR NON-HEALTH SECTOR IN KWARA

Hope for Family Development Initiative HFDI staff, were part of the Trainees at DHIS DATA training for non-health sector in Kwara state.

 

The Data review meeting which held at Millennium Park Hotel Ilorin, was well attended by invited non governmental organisations across the state.

 

The Data review meeting also included Kwara State Aids Control Agency (KWASACA), Local Governments Aids Control Committee LACA and ministry of education.

 

In his lecture, KWASACA Manager, Mr. Israel talked about the Data Meeting Objectives, he stated that Q2 2023 data reporting has migrated from spreadsheet to electronic using NACA ENNRIMSS DHIS 2.0.

 

He added that SACA, OSS and Ministry of education were added on board and granted access and platform with different level.

 

While explaining Data reporting, he elucidated that data reporting is of utmost importance for meaningful intervention, for accurate report to appropriate quarters, for planning, policy making, and research, among others, and as at when due.

 

He urged the participants to always promptly report their submissions, which he said must have at least 90% rate, which must be first week of the new month.

 

On GC7, he added that additional organizational unit will be created to accommodate other implementing organizations for robust data gathering in the state.

 

Data Presentation was also done on KP GC7 Q3 Data SFH, NEPWHAN, ARFH on TB and by CBO’S present.
