#EndBadGovernance Day 2: Protesters Observe Jumma’at Prayers On The Road

#EndbadGovernance Protesters in Osogbo, Osun State Capital on Friday continue their protests across the town, demanding for reversal of policies that have been strangulating the people of the country.

While they continue to press for their demands to be met, the protest took another twist as the Muslim youths observed their Jumma’at prayers under the popular Olaiya Flyover.

When it was time for their Jumma’at prayers, the Muslims came together to observe the prayer at the protest ground while the Christians gave them protection.

The protesters, had earlier stormed the streets of Osogbo in protest to press home their demands from the government.

They moved from Old Garage to Olaiya as security operatives accompanied them, while ensuring there is no break down of law and order.

The demonstrators insisted that they would not rest on their oars until when their demands are met by the government.

They said they came out en masses yesterday, August 1st and the government heard their demands, but turned deaf ears

They called on the Federal Government to address myriads of challenges confronting the nation.

Meanwhile, security personnel were on ground to sustain peace and security of life and property as protest was done in a peaceful manner.
