Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance: HFDI Participates In Enrolment Scheme

Hope for Family Development Initiatives, HFDI participated actively in the enrollment of children between 0-5 years into the Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance scheme in Nsit Ubium , Etinan and Mkpat Enin local government.

 

After the enrollment, the beneficiaries who were successfully captured into the scheme, will for one year access treatments free of charge in any health facility close to their residences.

 

The health insurance scheme by Akwa Ibom government is to provide access to qualitative healthcare services in the state.

 

Hope for Family Development Initiatives being a frontline humanitarian non-governmental organization was approved by Akwa Ibom government through the state ministry of women and children affairs, to conduct the enrollment due to its wealth of developmental programs.

 

The health insurance beneficiaries participated in the activities which include documentation, enrollment and face capturing.

 

Aside the HFDI team led by the organization support officer the CCW’S covering the local governments, CCCRN staff and the team from Akwa Ibom State health insurance were also present at the registration activity.
