Local Government Workers Are Thriving On Good Governance Of Adeleke, He Has Our Support – Nathaniel Ogungbangbe

Governor Ademola Adeleke has been applauded for delivery of good governance to the good people of Osun state, an action which is described as a thriving platform for local government workers in the state.

 

This was disclosed by the President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees Osun, Dr Nathaniel Ogungbangbe at the new year celebration with the Union members in Osogbo last weekend.

 

Dr Ogungbangbe who maintained that Governor Adeleke is fulfilling his number one campaign agenda, which is prioritising workers welfare in the state, affirmed that, the government is paying salaries as at when due, alongside other benefits.

 

Speaking on minimum wage which the federal government approved as N70,000, he maintained that Governor Ademola Adeleke magnanimously approved N75,554.28k for Osun workers and he urged all to put in more effort in supporting the government.

 

According to him, “Governor Ademola Adeleke has not failed us, therefore we will not fail him too.”

 

“We, workers of Osun local government are reiterating our support for Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2026. He is doing well for workers and we promise our votes in 2026.”

 

At the NULGE new year celebration which was graced by Ijesa Descendants in Osun government cabinet, Dr Nathaniel Ogungbangbe lauded the government of Ademola Adeleke for approving workshop training for local government workers on efficient service delivery.

 

Attributing the success of his office as Osun NULGE President to the good governance of Governor Adeleke, he reiterated his determination to put in more effort and better the union in his second term in office, and he again solicited for the support of the local government workers.

 

Addressing the local government staff at the NULGE new year celebration, Barrister Jola Akintola, the Commissioner for Health, Commissioner for Cooperative and Empowerment Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe and the Commissioner for Environment Honorable Mayowa Adejoorin, who graced the programme in solidarity to the union President, appreciated all for supporting the government of Ademola Adeleke.

 

The trio who highlighted the impact of the government of Adeleke for the benefit of the people at the grassroot areas, enjoined all to support the continuous benevolence by voting the government into office for his second term in 2026.

 

On the workers of Osun state, Governor Adeleke is performing, and as stated by the Nigeria Labor Congress Chairman, Dr Arapasopo, with the implementation of the minimum wage, the state is rated second among states in Nigeria which has paid its workers.
