WINSEC Summit & Awards 2026: NAWOJ Announces August 5 as New Date

Following a critical meeting of the WINSEC 2026 Central Planning Committee held in Abuja, and after a careful review of issues of national importance, it was resolved that the previously scheduled date of Tuesday, June 30, 2026, be rescheduled to Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Please note that all other arrangements, including the venue, remain unchanged.

The leadership of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and its collaborating partners sincerely regret any inconvenience this change may have caused our distinguished guests, revered personalities, award recipients, sponsors, well-wishers, and other critical stakeholders.

According to the release signed by NAWOJ National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim Bura, “We wish to assure the general public that WINSEC Summit & Awards 2026, the first initiative of its kind in Nigeria, will be hosted on Wednesday August 5th, 2026, and promises to be a landmark event that will set a new standard of excellence and remain memorable for years to come.”

“We deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support, and look forward to welcoming you to an impactful and successful event.” – the statement stated.
