66TH BIRTHDAY: OONI CELEBRATES GOV. ADELEKE, COMMENDS HIS DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES 

The Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigerian Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC), Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula and the Natural Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide, the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has felicitated with the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary, commending his developmental strides and people-oriented style of governance in the state.

 

In a statement on Wednesday by the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Ooni who is also the Permanent Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) described Governor Adeleke as a cheerful and humble leader whose administration continues to promote peace, unity and steady development across Osun State.

 

Ooni Ogunwusi praised the governor for his commitment to infrastructural growth, youth empowerment and support for cultural heritage, noting that his leadership style has endeared him to many residents of the state.

 

The Ooni further stated that Governor Adeleke’s cordial relationship with traditional institutions has contributed immensely to stability, mutual understanding and harmonious coexistence in Osun State.

 

According to the Ooni, the governor has remained accessible to the people and responsive to their needs since assuming office in 2022, adding that his simplicity and dedication to service have distinguished his administration.

 

“On behalf of the House of Oduduwa, the people of Ile-Ife and the traditional institution in Yorubaland, I celebrate my dear Governor Ademola Adeleke, on his 66th birthday anniversary. We appreciate his commitment to the progress and development of Osun State and pray that Almighty God grants him more wisdom, strength and sound health for greater service to humanity,” the Ooni stated.
