September Will Be a Month of Delivery and Accomplishment — Osun Tourism Board Chairman
The Chairman of Osun State Tourism Board, Hon. Taiwo Kayode Adeleke, has urged the people of Osun to embrace the new month of September with renewed determination and high expectations, declaring it as a season of delivery and great accomplishments.
In his new month message issued from his hometown of Okini in Egbedore Local Government Area, Hon. Adeleke described the ninth month as symbolic, likening it to the delivery period for an expectant mother. He noted that, despite the challenges faced during pregnancy, joy eventually comes with delivery in the ninth month.
“We thank God for the gift of life and the privilege to witness September 2025. This month will deliver all our long-time expectations and bring fulfillment to our desires,” he declared.
The Tourism Board Chairman encouraged residents of Osun, especially those in Egbedore, to remain diligent, focused, and resilient in their endeavors, cautioning against losing hope as the year draws closer to an end. He maintained that persistence and determination are key to achieving success.
Hon. Adeleke also expressed appreciation to the people of Osun for their loyalty and commitment towards the ongoing national voters card registration, which commenced on August 18, 2025. He praised their enthusiasm and willingness to support the government through active civic participation.
He specifically commended the Egbedore community for their massive turnout in the registration exercise, describing their dedication as a clear sign of their support for the developmental strides of the present administration.
The Tourism Board Chairman further encouraged those who are 18 years and above and are yet to register to take advantage of the opportunity, stressing that all local governments in the state remain open for the exercise.
According to him, “possessing a voter’s card is crucial to sustaining the progress currently being witnessed.
“The development Osun is enjoying today is a product of the visionary leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke. Let us continue to support his administration and join hands to move the state forward. Registering and obtaining our voter’s card is the right step in sustaining this momentum,” he concluded.
