OSUN NUJ CONGRATULATES OSBC ON NEW TRANSMITTERS, APPRECIATES GOV. ADELEKE FOR COMMENCING REVITALIZATION OF THE VOICE OF THE SOUTH-WEST

The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, felicitates with the State-Owned media conglomerate, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation OSBC, on the purchase of 6 new digital radio transmitters and studios by the State Government under the leadership of Sen. Ademola Adeleke.

In a release jointly issued by Chairman and Secretary, Comrades Wasiu Ajadosu and Adeyemi Aboderin, described the feat as the “Dawn of a New Era” for the broadcast outfit.

The State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists disclosed that the arrival of the transmitters will enhance production and output of Livingspring FM, Osogbo, Orisun FM, Ile-Ife and Odidere FM, Iwo, and widen their audience base.

The release, which appreciated efforts of Governor Ademola Adeleke for his footprints on OSBC, commended the present administration in the state for giving priority to prompt dissemination of information and welfare of workers.

Osun NUJ therefore promised to continue to support the state government in the dissemination of programmes and policies undertaken.

The statement congratulates the people of the state on the new purchase as they await the installation of the new transmitters and their performances.
