Osun Govt. Approves Appointment Of New Awara of Iwara – in Atakunmosa East LCDA

The administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the appointment of HRM, Oba Adekunle Taiwo Isaac in Atakunmosa East Local Council Development Area of the state.
This was made known through a letter of notification to the new monarch by the Special Adviser to Mr Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Akintunde Akindeere in his office.
Hon. Akindeere who affirmed that Goverment’s action was in accordance with the Chief’s Law of Osun State, further appealed to the residents of the Council to shun acts of violence and continue to sustain peace, love and harmony.
According to the notification letter, the appointment takes effect from Wednesday, 13th November 2024 in accordance with section 20, sub-section(1) of the Chief’s law (cap. 25) laws of Osun State 2022.
While congratulating the monarch, the Special Adviser to Mr. Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, urged him to use his new appointment to further augment the existing unity and peace in his domain.
In his remarks,the Monarch appreciated the Governor and promised his support and encouragement for his administration from time to time.
