Osun Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Egbedun Honours O-TRAM Officers for Hardwork

For their resilience, hardwork and commitment to duty, the State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun has honoured three (3) staff of the Osun State Traffic Marshals (O-TRAM), of the state ministry of transportation.

 

The Marshals, Bada Victoria, Adeleke Oluwatoyin, Oyebode Temitope were unexpectedly presented with Valentines gifts, sent by the Speaker as form of recognition for their hardwork.

The Marshals who are regular features on the popular Gbongan-Osogbo road were later received by the Speaker in his office where he personally commended them for their efforts at ensuring free traffic flows, all the time.

 

Rt. Hon. Egbedun saluted their zeal and determination to ensure that traffic flows smoothly, while on the road, stressing that he has never seen women show so much passion and commitment to duty, despite the harsh condition of their job.

 

According to the Speaker, “You ladies are a welcome and beautiful sight to behold on the Gbongan-Osogbo road, where you work tirelessly to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, we are glad to see you getting the recognition you deserve for your work.

“I commend you for your unwavering diligence and commitment to your duty posts. You must know that your continued efforts at maintaining order and safety on our roads in highly important and I urge you to continue the good job”. Rt. Hon. Egbedun stated.

 

Speaking on behalf of her colleagues during an interview, Mrs Adeleke Oluwatoyin said, they are overwhelmed by the honour done them by the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, stressing that it will impress them to work harder.

 

In her words, “Honestly, I am short of words, it feels good to know that while doing our job, somebody somewhere in the caliber of Speaker is watching, and decides to follow it up with a gift. We are indeed honoured and we promise to continue to ensure order and safety on our roads”.
