Osogbo Born Late Jagun Of Woru-land, Alhaji Ibrahim Adekunle Durosinmi Will Be Missed By All

The late Jagun of Woru-land, Alhaji Ibrahim Adekunle Ayodele Durosinmi has been described as a personality with selfless heart who loved his children and community passionately, and who will be missed by all and sundry.

 

Abiodun Lateef Durosinmi also known as Succulent made this known on Friday while granting interview to newsmen at Atlantis Civic Centre, Osogbo during the reception program organized for his late father, Alhaji Ibrahim Durosinmi.

 

Succulent, who praised the invaluable fatherly role which his father Alhaji Durosinmi, doted on him and his siblings, applauded him as a responsible man who gave the best legacy to his children during his life time.

 

Succulent, a prominent Alumnus of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, who was also the immediate past Chairman of OSCOTECH North America Chapter, opined that “my father was a goal getter, a community man, loved by his children and people, he always ready to help.”

 

“We are proud to be known as his children, because he was a great man, a philanthropist, who wholeheartedly loved his children and community, he will be greatly missed, particularly for his love for his community and exemplary way of life.”

 

The American.based Abiodun Lateef Durosinmi, appreciated all relatives, friends, business acquaintances,  Honorable members, the Rector Osun state college of Technology, Dr SAO Adegoke, OSCOTECH Alumni in Nigeria and Diaspora, and other associations who celebrated his father, and he assured the people of Osogbo that the late Alhaji Durosinmi has a good son that will emulate his character.

 

Also speaking, one of the daughters of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Durosinmi, Abimbola Mudijat Adepoju, described him as a father who impacted immensely into the lives of many in Osogbo, other states of Nigeria and he accommodated many people.

 

She eulogized her late father, Abimbola, saying he lived a fulfilled life being an humble person, God fearing, generous and nice to all, he loved his children, trained them well, gave education and religion to us.

 

In Osogbo community, “our father was a great man, even in his role as Jagun of Woru-land, he loved God, and he exited as a martyre, we will forever miss him.

 

A popular Royal father who graced the occasion, the Owamiran of Esa-Oke, Oba Adeyemi Akanbi Adediran, Atipa Owaji II, congratulated the children of Alhaji Ibrahim Durosinmi on the good legacy their father gave them.

 

“Looking at Succulent as educated an person, diligent and goal getter, and seeing his siblings also thriving in their different positions, shows the kind of person their late father was.”

 

At the reception program where the king of Fuji, Saheed Osupa entertained the guests with good music, Oba Adediran used the medium to urge parents to give their children the best legacy, which will speak about them, even after exit this earth.

 

The Osogbo born Alhaji Ibrahim Adekunle Ayodele Durosinmi came to being in the year 1933 and died in 2024 at the age of 91.
