Nigerian Girl Beats 69 Countries To Emerge First In English Language

Nafisat Aminu, 17-year-old Northern Nigerian girl from Yobe State, has emerged as the top performer in English Language in a global final held in London, United Kingdom.

 

This was disclosed in the results of the TeenEagle Global Finals in the UK, announced on Monday.

 

The reports showed that Nafisat Aminu defeated 69 countries and surpassed 20,000 participants to win the recognition.

 

Her feat attracted reaction from Nigerians on X:

According to Abbey Abby on X, he lauded the development, noting that this is another win for the country.

“Nigeria wins again,” @abbeykool wrote on X.

 

Another user on X said the best brains remain in Nigeria.

“We have the best brains here; we dominate anytime we compete,” she wrote.

 

Recently the female gender are thriving in different competitions under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who rewarded D’Tigeress and Super Falcons with $100,000 cash prizes, respectively, for winning African women’s basketball and football this year.
